Melanie Veronica is an artist and designer. She is a creative director and founder of The Villanova Creative Collective, an artist community movement in Los Angeles, California. She has experience in film, editing, graphic design. fashion, furniture and glass art. Melanie grew up in Long Island, New York and received her BFA from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles.

I consider design to be functional art. With my work I aim to enhance the users experience and overall quality of life. I'm fascinated by objects that can spark fantasy and imagination, transforming the constructs of the everyday routine. I dedicate my life to art, to influence the imagination and encourage the celebration of each moment. I am a sculptor at heart, whether sculpting glass, felt, concepts or an entire environment, my art has always been my meditation.
Within my artist collectives I often use my knowledge of art and design to create an atmosphere in which fosters creativity for myself and others. I create spaces which bring people together and act as a safe place for expression as well as coordinate living systems and problem solving for communities to grow and strengthen.
